Last night was historic, Obama won and I must say the whole thing was pretty epic.
Reading this morning’s paper I learned about his life, all the cool community work he’s done, and how he’s inspired change in Americans.
But what happened to California? What happened to the “Yes we can” mantra. When Californians voted yesterday, why did they choose to ban same-sex marriages? More than 18,000 same-sex couples are married in California.
A message to those who voted for the bill “Prop 8.” Who are you to dictate the lives of others? Who are you to decide whether or not people can get married.
